• Ground floor extension vs. second storey – Building a ground floor extension is much cheaper than second storey extensions or an additional room to your second storey. Second storey additions are more technically complex and may require you to move out of your home during the renovation process.
• Size of extension – The larger the extension, the more it will cost. Because of this, costs for extensions are often quoted per square metre. This provides you with an idea of how much your project will cost for differently-sized rooms.
